Express Lube, in Charles City, IA, is the area's premier auto service specialist serving Charles City and surrounding areas since 1990. We offer full service oil change with no appointments necessary.

All oil changes include synthetic blend oil and filter, all fluids filled, chassis lubed, tires checked and filled, interior is vacuumed, and windows are washed.

Our Story

Our owner, Scott Parks, established Express Lube with his father in 1990 and has been providing quality auto mechanic service for Charles City and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. Scott’s father was an entrepreneur; after becoming a proud member of his local union in 1976, he went on to own a few different companies while Scott attended school. Scott was professionally educated in mechanics and repair, gaining a number of certifications in his time there which would set the foundation for his successful future in auto mechanic services. Our owners saw a need for a trusted mechanic in the local community, as there were none to date.

We wanted to better serve the community and its residents, and offer them a place where they could have their car serviced locally so they would not have to commute a great distance for service. We are proud to be the only local and family owned mechanic business in the area. Express Lube specializes in auto maintenance, full service oil changes, and tire checks and repairs. We’re committed to providing extraordinary customer service and ensuring your vehicle leaves our garage in tip-top shape. No matter what service you come in for, you’ll leave happy you chose us.

Our full service oil change includes an oil change, washing windows, lubing doors, vacuuming the interior of the vehicle, tire checks, and filling all fluids. When you come in, we’re going to check every box to make sure the car comes out looking and running like new. We understand our customers rely heavily on their vehicles for work, errands, and more; so we’re proud to say that most of our services can be completed the same day, with few exceptions. Our team of mechanics is highly trained and skilled to deliver fast and efficient service on your vehicle. We pride ourselves on our work and never cutting a corners when it comes to the care of your car, truck, or van.
